To update a staff roster, sometimes referred to as working hours or calendar slots we need to head over Settings>Business>Roster
Understanding Shifts and Sessions.
A single shift can contain multiple sessions for example In this shift there are 2 sessions and a gap between the 2 sessions
Breaks
leaving a gap indicates a break typically used for lunch breaks. Breaks
display in the calendar as a grey background, if you try to book inside a break Zavy will display a warning which you can bypass if you wish
Example:
9:00am - 11:00am (Session 1)
12:00pm - 5:00pm (Session 2)
Repeating a shift
You can save this session as a one-off, or you can repeat the session to create reoccurring shifts.
A common shift pattern is when the shift repeats weekly
Leave the end date empty if you want to allow the shift to run indefinitely or select an end date to stop the shift on a certain date.
Online Bookings opens up a session in the calendar for online bookings, to fully enable online bookings there are multiple areas you need to configure, search How to set up online bookings for more information
