Inviting Patients to Zavy Connect – Setup & Best Practice
To get the most from Zavy Connect, both your practice and the patient need to be on board. That’s why we’ve designed a simple, flexible invite process.
Step 1: Talk to the Patient (Recommended but optional)
At the front desk or during their visit, let the patient know about the benefits of using the Zavy Connect app. It’s a good idea to frame it as a way to:
Book appointments faster
Access treatment plans, forms, and invoices in one place
Avoid printed paperwork and stay connected to the practice
If the patient is interested, move on to sending the invite.
Step 2: Enable Zavy Connect in Their Profile
Go to the patient’s profile in the Zavy Practice Management System.
Click Enable Zavy Connect.
A prompt will appear asking you to confirm a few key details:
Date of Birth – used for identity verification during setup (pre-populated from the patients profile)
Mobile Number – a one-time password (OTP) will be sent to this number
Invite Template – optional; this message can be customised to suit your practice’s tone
Step 3: Send the Invite
Once you’ve confirmed the details and customised the message (if needed), send the invite. The patient will receive an SMS with a link to download the app and complete their setup.
