You can create invoices from different areas in the system depending on your workflow, in this article we are going to cover creating an invoice from the patients profile.
To get started navigate to
Patient profile > Invoices
Under the Create Invoice Area Click the Add Services and Products drop down
Search for a billable item code, name or scan a barcode
Billable items will appear in the invoice builder holding area, this is where we can make any adjustments to price, link billable items to appointments or change the staff assignee if required before generating the invoice.
Auto-Adjust Stock Quantity is automatically checked and will remove items out of stock if you have stock tracking enabled
Click Create Draft invoice or Create and Send invoice (Automatically emails the invoice to the email on record)
That's it the invoice has been created with the default settings you have set from the settings pages
Note: When adding billable items from the patient's invoice screen the status of the billable item is automatically set as ready to invoice, adding items from other areas of the system such as the treatment planner may have an alternative status for items added.
