Two-factor authentication (2FA) is an extra layer of security that requires users to provide two forms of identification to access their online accounts. It combines something you know (password) with something you have (a physical device or unique code). Using 2FA enhances security, protects against password breaches, adds convenience, and is compatible with multiple devices. It's an important security measure for safeguarding your accounts and sensitive information.

  1. Log in to Zavy360 using a staff account

  2. Click My Profile located on the main menu next to your avatar

  3. Locate the security widget and click the switch to enable the QR code

  4. Download an authenticator app from the App Store (Apple or Android), here at Zavy we use the google authenticator app but others should work. Open the app and select scan QR code (wording may be different)

  5. Scan the QR code show and enter the code, click add

If the code looks correct Zavy will save the key and now you will be asked for the authenticator code via the apple/android app each time you log in.

In the event your password gets leaked or cracked you will have an additional layer of protection.

Important if you loose your phone or uninstall the app you will need to authenticate via authentication method like email or phone so please make sure they are correct.
