Zavy offers two methods for users to generate and print clinical notes.
METHOD 1 : Using the Clinical Summary
In the patient profile, click on the Clinical Summary button at the top of the page.
Note: The Clinical Summary button may either be expanded or contracted depending on your screen size. On smaller screens, it may appear as an icon.Once clicked, a left drawer will appear, displaying all available clinical notes. Click on the Print button.
The Print Preview window will open, listing all the clinical notes. Click on the Print button to begin printing.
METHOD 2 : Using the Clinical Notes variable in Document Templates
In this method, you'll create a custom document template that includes the Clinical Notes variable, which will automatically display the patient's clinical notes.
Navigate to Settings > Templates > Documents, then click on the New button.
Select Letter as the document type.
In the Template Editor, follow these steps:
Provide a name for the template in the Template Name field.
Click on Add Variable Set.
In the Type dropdown, select Patient.
In the Content Editor Toolbar, click on Variables.
Click on the Patient menu button.
Click on the Clinical Notes menu button.
The patient.clinical_notes variable will be inserted into the editor.
Click Next to finish.
At the Document Preview screen, even though the preview may look empty, click Save. The Clinical Notes template is now ready to use in the patient's Documents tab.
In the patient's Documents tab, click the New button, then select Document from Template.
In the Select a Template drawer, search for and click the Clinical Notes template you just created.
In the Template Variable Configuration, click Next.
In the Create Document screen, the patient's clinical notes will automatically appear in the document editor. Click the Print button to start printing the patient's clinical notes.
These two methods provide flexibility depending on your needs—whether you want a quick print from the clinical summary which is non-editable or a more customisable template for your documents.
