In Zavy, our Clinical Notes are split into 3 types, Treatment, Dental & Billing. From the patient Notes tab, you can select the categories manually when creating a note, however, our Clinical Notes can be added automatically from other sections in Zavy.

1. Treatment

Clinical:Treatment notes relates to a treatment done for the patients, if the note is added from a treatment plan it will be linked to the it.

From the treatment plan, notes added from within the planner and/or chart are created as Treatment notes.

The Treatment notes created can be found in the patient Notes tab with the link to the treatment planner and chart:

2. Dental

Clinical:Dental notes are added from the charting page of a treatment plan. Go into a specific tooth, select 'Location Notes' tab from the left bar. Notes added from here will be created as Clinical:Dental notes.

3. Billing

Clinical:Billing notes are not linked to a treatment plan like the other two clinical note types, it can be created from anywhere in Zavy when you create a note and manually change the note category to Clinical:Billing.
