Setup Guide: Enabling Automated Cancellation Fees

This guide walks you through how to configure your system to charge patients for late cancellations or no-shows.


πŸ”› Step 1: Turn on Cancellation Charges

Navigate to:
​Settings > Business > Settings

Scroll down and locate Cancellation Charges.
βœ… Toggle Enable cancellation charges to ON.


πŸ’³ Step 2: Request Payment Details Automatically (Optional but recommended)

Still in Settings, you can choose to request credit card details from all patients when they book online.

  • Enable Send request to add a payment method

  • Select how many days prior to the appointment you'd like the request sent

πŸ’‘ If you don’t enable this setting, you can still manually request and store a card from each patient via their individual profile.


πŸ“„ Step 3: Set Your Terms and Conditions

It’s crucial to define and display your cancellation policy and fee terms.
This ensures patients are informed and helps avoid disputes.

Once these steps are complete, your practice will be ready to use automated cancellation fees.
