What's New — March 2026 v3.0

A major release with new features, redesigned pages, and early access programs

This is one of our biggest releases yet. We're introducing brand new tools like Patient Flow and Campaigns, redesigned pages across the application, and opening up early access to our Health Engine integration and API platform. Here's everything that's new.

*As we are doing a slow release, some features are not available at the moment.


Patient Flow — Real-Time Waitroom Management

Patient Flow is a new sidebar tool built into the calendar that gives your team live visibility into every patient's journey through the practice — from arrival to completion — without leaving the calendar screen.

Appointments are automatically sorted into six sections so you always know who is where:

Staff can advance patients through four stages — Arrived, Waiting, In Progress, and Complete — with a single click. Changes sync instantly across the calendar for all staff. Colour-coded wait time indicators (teal, orange, red) give at-a-glance feedback so your team can intervene before wait times become a problem.

Additional features include filtering by practitioner or status, toolbar badges showing real-time counts, and an audio chime when patients check in.

Tip: Patient Flow is ideal for practices with front desk staff who manage patient arrivals separately from the treating practitioners. It gives reception, clinicians, and managers a shared view without needing to communicate manually.


Campaigns and Smart Campaigns (Early Access Limited Availability)

Campaigns lets you send targeted bulk communications to groups of patients directly from Zavy 360. Whether it's a seasonal promotion, a service announcement, or a follow-up to a specific patient segment, Campaigns gives you the tools to reach the right patients at the right time.

Smart Campaigns take this further by automating ongoing outreach. Define your audience criteria and message, and Zavy will automatically send communications to patients as they match your criteria — no manual intervention required.

Key capabilities include:

  • Audience targeting — Filter patients by appointment history, treatment type, demographics, and more

  • Multi-channel delivery — Send via SMS, email, or both

  • Template support — Use your existing communication templates or create campaign-specific ones

  • Smart automation — Set criteria once and let Smart Campaigns handle ongoing delivery


Online Bookings v2.1

Online Bookings has been updated with a refreshed interface, improved mobile experience, and better analytics to help you understand how patients are booking online.

What's Changed

  • Redesigned UI — A cleaner, more modern booking interface that better reflects your practice branding

  • Mobile-first design — The booking flow has been rebuilt for mobile devices, where the majority of patients book from

  • Improved analytics — New insights into booking conversion, popular appointment types, peak booking times, and drop-off points

Tip: Check your Online Bookings analytics after this update to establish new baselines. The improved mobile experience typically increases conversion rates from mobile devices.


Health Engine Integration (Early Access Limited Availability)

We're opening limited early access to our Health Engine integration. This connects your Zavy 360 account with Health Engine to sync patient bookings, reviews, and practice information between the two platforms.

During early access, we're working closely with participating practices to refine the integration before general availability. Spaces are limited.

Early Access: This feature is available to a limited number of practices. Contact your account manager or reach out to our support team to express interest in joining the early access program.


API Platform (Early Access Limited Availability)

The Zavy 360 API is now available in limited early access for practices and third-party developers who want to build custom integrations with Zavy 360. The API provides programmatic access to core practice data including patients, appointments, and more.

Early access participants will receive API documentation, sandbox access, and direct support from our engineering team during the rollout period.

SMS Auto Top-Up New

Never run out of SMS credits again. The new SMS Auto Top-Up feature automatically purchases additional SMS credits when your balance drops below a threshold you set.

To enable auto top-up, go to Settings > Communications > SMS and configure your preferred threshold and top-up amount. Your saved payment method will be charged automatically when your balance drops below the threshold.

Tip: We recommend setting your threshold to cover at least 2–3 days of normal SMS usage. This gives a buffer in case of higher-than-usual messaging volume from recalls or campaigns.


UI and Usability Improvements

Several pages have been redesigned to be faster, clearer, and easier to use.

Permissions Page Rebuilt

The permissions management page has been completely rebuilt with a new interface that makes it easier to view, search, and adjust user permissions across your practice. The new layout provides clearer visibility into what each role can access.

Quick Roster Page Rebuilt (Early Access Coming Soon)

The quick roster page has been redesigned with a cleaner layout and faster interactions. Managing practitioner rosters and availability is now quicker and more intuitive.

Date of Birth on Appointment Popover

The appointment popover now displays the patient's date of birth, making it easier to verify patient identity at a glance without opening the full patient record.

Send Communication Templates from Right-Click Menu

You can now right-click any appointment on the calendar and send any communication template directly from the context menu. This saves time when you need to send a quick message — whether it's a reminder, follow-up, or custom communication — without opening the full appointment or patient record.

Next Appointment Quick Action

A new quick action is available on the appointment card and patient profile that takes you directly to the patient's next appointment. Choose to navigate to the day view or jump straight to the appointment detail. This makes it faster to check upcoming visits when reviewing a patient's history or current appointment.

Leads and Organizations (Early Access Limited Availability)

Create new Organizations that can be linked with Contacts and Referrals.

You can now create new Leads (potential patients) manually or they get added from filling in a lead form.

Lead forms that populate leads from a form

Set up a Lead form in Zavy which generated a link that potential patients can fill in their information, which in turn creates the Lead automatically in Zavy.
