How to setup TYRO EFTPOS and Healthpoint Integration on Zavy 360

Why use Tyro with Zavy 360?

Tyro allows you to easily process payments and Healthpoint Private Insurance Claims,

Providing tailored payment solutions and value-adding business banking products to Australian businesses.

HealthPoint Claims and Rebate Estimate are only available with the Zavy360 integration and Healthpoint cannot be as standalone.


Set up Tyro with Zavy 360

  1. Make sure your Tyro terminal has been activated you can contact Tyro support on 1300966639

  2. Log into Zavy 360 with an account which has rights to manage payment options, by default this is the Owner of the account.

  3. In Zavy 360 navigate to settings > Financial >Payments > Tyro and Enable Tyro

  4. On your Tyro terminal go to Menu > Configuration > Intergrated EFTPOS > Select Pair with POS. The terminal will show a Merchant ID(MID) and a Terminal ID(TID),

  5. On Zavy 360 Click Add Terminal

  6. Enter a Name of your choice, the (MID) and (TID) shown on the Tyro terminal into Zavy and Save

  7. Once saved click the Pair icon in Zavy 360

  8. On the terminal click Start and that's is, your terminal should have paired.

  9. (Optional Step) To confirgure Multi Merchanant can click the edit button and add additional MIDs


Processing a Healthpoint Claim with Zavy360

Please note that certain service items which require additional fields to be entered would need to be added from the treatment planner area. 
Patient > Treatment Plans > New Treatment Plan

You can add service items from either the Invoices section when booking an appointment or treatment planning. This guide will cover the specifics of Healthpoint only, please refer to adding invoice items guides or reach out to support, for more information on creating an invoice.

Prerequisites to claim health point via Healthpoint

  • Enter Private Healthcare Provider, number and reference on the patients profile

Every patient needs a Private Healthcare Provider, number and reference set

  1. In Zavy go to Patient Profile > Edit

  2. Enter the details on the Private healthcare card

  • Setup provider numbers and MIDs for staff/practitioners

    1. In Zavy go to settings > business > staff > edit

    2. Under Contract Numbers enter your contract information, Entering a health fund and description is optional and not needed if the number is used over multiple health funds.

    3. Provider Number and MID are required by Tyro

    4. Save any changes

Claiming via Healthpoint

  1. To claim via healthpoint you need to have the following prerequisites

  2. After adding your services items to an invoice, click on the Payments / Claims button and select Healthpoint Claim

  3. From the dropdown select a Provider ID

  4. Select which codes you would like to claim for

  5. Select a terminal, the terminal will be greyed if id the MID on the Terminal and the MID on the selected provider ID do not match

  6. Either select Healthpoint Rebase Estimate to give the patient a Quote or Healthpoint Claim to claim without quoting

Cancelling a Healthpoint Payment

Healthpoint allows cancellations up to 24 hours after a claim has been made.

To cancel a Healthpoint claim

  1. Browse the the invoice where the claim was processed

  2. Under Transaction history click Cancel Claim, if they button is disabled (shown below) it means 24 hours have passed

  3. Follow any on screen prompts


Making a Tyro EFTPOS Payment

  1. From the Invoice or Calendar screen click on Payments / Claims

  2. Select Tyro

  3. From the payment, drawer choose a Provider ID

  4. Confirm the Card amount

  5. Confirm your terminal is selected and click take payment
