Finance Reports Overview and Navigation

This Article will show you how you can Navigate and Fully Customize View, Columns, and Filters on any reports under Finance Report based on your preference.

After reading and following through the Article, this will allow to learn about:

  • Using built in Date Range for quick Report Generation

  • Where to access Columns

Built In Date Range for Quick Report Generation:

Allows for quick reporting based on the available set of date range that you can use to easily generate a report.

This includes:

  • Today

  • Yesterday

  • Last 7 days

  • This Week

  • Last 30 Days

  • This Month

  • Last Month

  • Last 6 Months

  • Last 12 Months

  • This Financial Year

  • Last Financial Year

Custom Date Ranges

This will allow you to set a custom Date Range for the generation of the report.

In the example screenshot below: I have selected January 1, 2023 to February 28, 2023 for the report generation that I wanted to capture.

Columns

In our reporting, we have the ability to Drag Columns based on View Preferences, Hide and Show specific columns and set Column as a Row Group.



Filters

In our reporting, we have lots of useful filters that you can utilize to improve your workflow and reports view, Highlighted below on the screenshot is where you can access our Filtering Options.

You can also utilize the filter toggle highlighted on the next screenshot for quick filter options.


Charting

Charting is also available in Zavy Reporting, to be able to use and access Charts, Select a range of data or Filter data that you wish to show a Range Chart. Once Filtered and Selected Right Click the Report and Click on Chart Range. You can then select which type of Chart you wish to use. In the example below, We used Pie Chart as a representation of the data that we filtered in the Transaction Report.


Export

Export is a feature that is also available in Zavy Reporting. This will allow you to export the report that you have already set the filters and views in a .CSV or Excel format for more customization and if you wish to have the report printed in Excel. To export a report, Simply right click anywhere on the rows and columns inside the report and this will give you the option for CSV Export or Excel Export.
