In Zavy we allow multiple price lists so each patient can have custom pricing, its important to understand how this works before trying to claim via Medipass.

In Australia and unlike many other countries, item codes may contain different prefixes or codes entirely depending no which price list has been set. For example a private health fund code is 011, a CDBS code is 88011 and a DVA code would be D011 (there are more)

For better compatibility in future and due to this Zavy we now import each of the codes as a seperate item. meaning it the example about we would have 3 seperate items for those codes.

88011

D011

011

Adding / Importing item codes

Private health fund codes are supported by default and you can requests for us to import some other codes on your behalf, although we don't so this for every discipline we can import item codes for DVA dental and CDBS. Reach out to support to requests these be added to your site.

Price lists Introduction

Assigning Price Lists / Fee schedules to a patient ensures the correct pricing when adding treatment items, to make it easier for staff we recommend assigning only the prices required for each scheduled supported, for example CDBS doesn't cover D011 or 011 (they are not valid codes for those codes so only enter prices for valid codes.

Here is an example of how the pricing for each item would look for our item codes

Code

Standard

CDBS

DVA

011

100

D011

57.45

88011

55.40

If you are unsure on how to manage pricing please see here

Setting the pricing as above ensures then when you're adding items for a patient who has for example CDBS pricing, 022 would be unavailable for them when treatment planning which helps avoid mistakes.

Items with blank pricing cannot be added, ensure staff add the correct codes

If you already have a price lists with the correct name we can go ahead and move to the next step in claiming.
