Services (and Products) are used for billing purposes. If you don't create services and products, we can't select items to generate an invoice to bill anyone!
For health services, you can specific the exact time duration and relevant code details for insurance claim. Service and products can also be grouped into categorises for ease of management.
How to create a new Service?
Click Settings ⚙️ from the top menu bar
Under Product/Services, click Product/Services
Click on New and choose Product or Service
Fill in the following to create a new entry:
Name | Service label |
Code | Specify a unique code |
Description | A short description or explanation |
Category | Select relevant group for easy management |
Duration | Length of the time in Minutes |
Sell price | Your billable price |
Cost price | Set your cost to help calculate your margin |
Tax inclusive | If good/service tax apply to this price |
Health fund modality | Select the relevant insurance category |
Health fund item number | For private insurane claim, enter the item number or code here |
Public health code | For public insurane claim, enter the item number or code here |
Exam | Is the item, an exam? |
X-ray | Is the item, an x-ray? |
Click Save on the top right of the screen when you are ready to complete.
