How to add custom products and services to Zavy

Zavy comes with some examples services to get you started but its highly likely you will need to add additional products and services.

How do we classify products and services?

Product: Usually a physical item such as a Toothbrush

Service: A billable item that requires interaction by a staff member or the performing of action where no tangible item has been sold.

Note: Inventory management can only be enabled for Products.

Creating a new product or service

Basic Information

  • Navigate to Catalogue > Product or Service


  • Click New


  • Enter the SKU this must be unique in the system, you can use this for barcodes if you like to scan barcode numbers into zavy

  • Enter a Name which will be shown on invoices

  • Enter a Description if required

  • Enter a Category

  • Enter a Length in minutes if required. This will automatically adjust the start and end times of appointments when added anywhere in the system where an appointment is booked, you can always override this time and it's used for an estimate only.

Pricing Information

  • Enter a Sell Price, the price you wish to charge the customer

  • Adjust Tax amount if required, this is a percentage and requires Taxable to be enabled to take effect

  • Tax Inclusive tells Zavy if the value you entered includes tax or excludes it, it will calculate the tax amount depending on your selection


Photo

  • Upload a product or service image that will be displayed for online bookings

Online Bookings

  • Enable if you would like to allow this service or product to be available for online bookings, there are other pre-requisites that need be completed to full enable online bookings covered in another guide

  • Assigned Staff - which staff allow this product or service online

  • Appointment Reminder Template: Which communication template to use when contacting the patient

  • Appointment Confirmation Template: Which communication template to use when requesting confirmation from the patient

Health

The health section is used for health fund claiming and specialist modules, it is advised to reach out to support if you require health fund codes as they may be able to do a bulk import for your industry

That's is click save and your billable item will be available for new invoices
